La Tortuga y la Liebre - cuento en inglés
El cuento de "La Tortuga y la Liebre" es una fábula clásica atribuida a Esopo, aunque también ha sido adaptada por Jean de La Fontaine y otros escritores. Narra la historia de una carrera entre una tortuga lenta pero constante y una liebre rápida pero arrogante. La liebre se burla de la tortuga y acepta correr contra ella en una carrera. A pesar de que la liebre toma una gran ventaja al principio y se detiene a descansar, la tortuga continúa avanzando lentamente pero sin detenerse. Once upon a time in the forest, there was a tortoise named Tita and a hare named Leo. Tita was very calm and always walked slowly, while Leo was very fast and always ran through the forest.
One day, Leo saw Tita walking slowly and made fun of her. "Hello, Tita! Why do you walk so slowly? I am the fastest in the forest!" said Leo arrogantly.
"Tita, why don't you race with me?" asked Leo, mocking the tortoise.
"Alright, Leo. I will race with you," replied Tita calmly, accepting the challenge.
So they decided to race from the forest to the highest hill. The hare ran as fast as he could, leaving the tortoise behind. But soon he felt tired and decided to take a nap under a tree.
Meanwhile, Tita continued forward slowly but without stopping. "Never stop moving forward, even if it's slow," she said to herself.
When Leo woke up from his nap, he was surprised to see Tita near the hill. "Oh no! Tita will catch up to me!" exclaimed the hare, running as fast as he could to catch up to the tortoise.
Finally, Tita reached the hill first, winning the race. "I did it! I won the race!" shouted Tita with joy, while Leo arrived tired and out of breath.
"I'm sorry, Tita. I made fun of you and underestimated your determination," said Leo humbly.
"It's okay, Leo. What's important is that we learned a lesson: perseverance and determination always lead to victory," replied Tita with a smile.
And from that day on, Leo learned to respect Tita and appreciate the importance of perseverance and determination.
La Tortuga y la Liebre en español
Había una vez en el bosque, una tortuga llamada Tita y una liebre llamada Leo. Tita era muy tranquila y siempre caminaba despacio, mientras que Leo era muy rápida y siempre corría por el bosque.
Un día, Leo vio a Tita caminando lentamente y se burló de ella. "¡Hola, Tita! ¿Por qué caminas tan lento? ¡Yo soy la más rápida del bosque!", dijo Leo con arrogancia.

Finalmente, Tita llegó a la colina primero, ganando la carrera. "¡Lo logré! ¡Gané la carrera!" gritó Tita con alegría, mientras Leo llegaba cansada y sin aliento.
"Lo siento, Tita. Me burlé de ti y subestimé tu determinación", dijo Leo humildemente.
