When Rudolph the reindeer was just a child, he was curious all the time. One day he saw that his nose was different from the others: it was red. Little Rudolph: ‘Why is my nose red?’ Asked Little Rudolph. Little Rudolph: ‘I'll go and ask the elves.’ There was a red elf decorating a Christmas Tree, and Rudolph walked over to ask him. Red Elf: ‘Well, Little Rudolph, my Christmas lights are missing one light, maybe you swallowed a red one.’ So Little Rudolph tried to remember... Little Rudolph: ‘Nooo, I didn't swallow your Christmas light.’ The green elf was baking cherry pies, so Rudolph walked over to ask him. Green Elf: ‘Hmm, maybe you ate all my cherries!’ The green elf said. Little Rudolph: ‘I love cherries, and your cherry pies smell yummy, but I don't remember that.’ So Little Rudolph was very sad, because nobody knew why his nose was red. Little Rudolph: ‘I don't like my red nose.’ Little Rudolph said, and he used a snowflake to cover it. With a snowflake on his nose, Rudolph walked around until it was night. Little Rudolph: ‘Oh no! There's no light, and I don't know the way back.’ Little Rudolph felt scared. Suddenly, the snowflake fell off his red nose, and it started to glow. Little Rudolph used his red nose, to light the way home. From that moment on, he felt proud of his nose. And grew up to be Santa's favourite reindeer.
