When Usain Bolt was just a child, he liked playing sports. Little Bolt: ‘Physical Education is my favourite subject in school!’ He couldn't wait for PE class. On the weekends, Little Bolt played cricket and football with his brother and sister. Little Bolt: ‘Let's play cricket!’ Little Bolt held the bat. Little Bolt: ‘Throw the ball!’ He hit the ball and started to run. He ran so fast, that the wind knocked off his sister's cap. He scored so many points, that no one could keep up! Little Bolt: ‘Wow, that was fast!’ Little Bolt: ‘Time to play football!’ Little Bolt was ready to receive the ball. Little Bolt: ‘Here, pass it to me!’ He got the ball and ran so fast, that he destroyed the grass. Little Bolt: ‘That was a great goal! I was so fast that no one saw me pass.’ One day, his school coach said: LittleBoltCoach: ‘You are so fast! How about trying track?’ Little Bolt wasn't sure about track. Little Bolt: ‘It looks boring, I can easily win.’ So Little Bolt's coach challenged him. LittleBoltCoach: ‘Can you run one hundred metres in under ten seconds?’ The coach grabbed his stopwatch and ... LittleBoltCoach: ‘Ready, set, go!’ Little Bolt started to run. LittleBoltCoach: ‘Twenty seconds! Not fast enough.’ Little Bolt: ‘What? I thought it was easy! I won't give up!’ So he never gave up and kept practising to achieve his goal. Little Bolt: ‘I won't stop until I make it!’ One day, he did it! Usain Bolt broke the world record! And he holds that record even now. What will you practise hard for?
