It was Halloween, and Gaf and Monkey were eating a lot of sweets. Monkey: ‘I love sweets! These red lollies are my favourite.’ When it was time to go to bed... Gaf: ‘We need to brush our teeth!’ Gaf brushed her teeth, but Monkey didn't want to do it. Monkey: ‘Why do we have to brush our teeth?’ Gaf: ‘That's a good question, Monkey! Let's find out why we have to brush our teeth.’ So they decided to ask the experts on teeth. Gaf: ‘There's the Tooth Fairy, Let's ask her why we have to brush our teeth.’ Toothfairy: ‘Well my friends, you have to brush your teeth because I need them clean and white.’ Toothfairy: ‘So I can make fairy dust that helps me fly around the world.’ Monkey: ‘There's Little Mouse Pérez, Let's ask him why we have to brush our teeth.’ Little Mouse Perez: ‘Well my friends, you have to brush your teeth because I need them clean and white.’ Little Mouse Perez: ‘So I can build my white palace out of your teeth.’ Monkey: ‘Bahh, you already have enough clean and white teeth.’ And he went to bed without brushing his teeth. The next day... Monkey: ‘Gaf, my teeth hurt!’ Gaf: ‘Oh Monkey! Let's take you to the dentist!’ Dentist: ‘There are tiny creatures living in your mouth, and they love to eat sweets.’ Dentist: ‘But they can cause holes in our teeth that are called cavities. That's why we must brush our teeth.’
