Cinderella lives with her mean stepmother and stepsisters. They make her clean all day. Stepmother Cinderella: ‘Clean the floor!’ One day, there is a big party at the castle. Cinderella: ‘Can I go to the party?’ Stepmother Cinderella: ‘No, you can't go. You have to stay and clean!’ Cinderella is very sad. Fairygodmother: ‘Don't be sad, Cinderella.’ The fairy godmother waves her magic wand. A pumpkin becomes a shiny carriage. A mouse becomes a horse. Cinderella gets a pretty dress and glass shoes. Fairygodmother: ‘Now you can go to the party. Be home by midnight.’ At the party, the prince dances with Cinderella. Cinderella: ‘Oh no, it's midnight, I have to go!’ Cinderella runs away and loses a shoe. The prince finds her and says, Cinderella Prince: ‘This shoe is yours.’ Cinderella: ‘Yes, it is!’ They live happily ever after.
