Once upon a time, in a beautiful kingdom, there lived a princess in a grand castle. The princess loved to play in the garden with her golden ball, which was her favorite toy. One day, while playing near a well, she threw the ball too high and it fell into the deep water of the well.
The princess sat by the edge of the well and began to cry inconsolably. Suddenly, a shiny green frog poked its head out of the water and said:
"Princess, why are you crying?"
The princess, surprised, replied, "I lost my golden ball in the well. It’s my favorite toy and I don’t know how to get it back."
The frog looked at her and said, "Don’t worry, princess. I can get your golden ball back, but in return, I want you to take me to your palace, let me eat from your plate, and sleep in your bed."
The princess, thinking that a frog couldn’t cause any harm, quickly agreed: "Alright, if you bring me my ball back, I’ll take you to my palace!"
The frog dove into the well and after a few minutes, surfaced with the golden ball in its mouth. The princess took the ball and ran back to the castle, completely forgetting about her promise.
That night, while the princess was having dinner with her family, she heard a tapping at the door. When she opened it, she found the frog sitting on the doorstep. The frog said:
